Ester Electrical proudly partnered with Tawera Group to deliver all-in-one electrical services for Kainga Ora’s Great North Road Apartments — New Zealand’s first fully modular, 6-storey residential complex. With over 100+ modules shipped from China and assembled in Auckland, the project earned a Merit Award at the 2025 Property Council NZ Industry Awards.

Scope of Work

Our role included:

• Full service design and coordination for incoming mains and riser cupboards
• In-slab ducting design to reticulate electrical and communications services
• Efficient integration with offshore-fabricated modular units
• Onsite troubleshooting and compliance for NZ regulations
• Collaboration with international engineering and installation teams

From design to installation, our team delivered a seamless, all-in-one electrical package that met the demands of both modular fabrication and local compliance.
